GERRIT M. PRONSKE

 

Areas of Practice


Mr. Pronske, recipient of Texas Monthly "Superlawyer" Designation, is a past Chairman of the Dallas Bankruptcy Bar Association and is currently Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Federal Bar Association.  He has over 24 years' experience in the areas of troubled loan restructurings, bankruptcy reorganizations, and insolvency-related litigation. Mr. Pronske represents financially distressed companies and individual debtors, trustees, lenders, asset purchasers, landlords, creditors, and creditors' committees. His practice includes litigation both in the bankruptcy courts as well as in the federal and state courts before judges, juries and arbitrators.

 

 

 


RAKHEE V. PATEL

 

Areas of Practice


Ms. Patel is a partner/shareholder in the firm and specializes in business bankruptcy, reorganization and restructuring.   Ms. Patel’s practice covers all aspects of business reorganization, restructuring and bankruptcy.  Ms. Patel as represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, equity holders, trustees and committees in chapter 11 reorganizations and chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings in addition to representing various parties in out-of-court restructurings and/or liquidations.  Ms. Patel has also served as counsel in bankruptcy related litigation, including preference, fraudulent transfer, discharge, dischargeability and state law based actions.


 

 


CHRISTINA W. STEPHENSON

 

Areas of Practice


Ms. Stephenson represents business debtors throughout all phases of chapter 7 bankruptcy and chapter 11 reorganization, as well as municipalities in chapter 9.  Her practice also encompasses substantial bankruptcy litigation, including preference, fraudulent transfer, discharge, dischargeability, and state law based actions; as well as bankruptcy appeals to the District Courts and the Fifth Circuit.  Ms. Stephenson represents not only financially distressed companies, but also individual debtors and creditors. 

 

 


MELANIE GOOLSBY

 

Areas of Practice


Ms. Goolsby represents business debtors in all areas of bankruptcy, including business reorganizations and liquidations under both Chapter 11 and Chapter 7. Ms. Goolsby’s experience includes all aspects of debtor representation, including pre-bankruptcy planning, first-day matters, post-petition bankruptcy financing, bankruptcy litigation, plan confirmation, and post-confirmation preference and fraudulent transfer litigation. Ms. Goolsby also represents individual debtors and creditors involved in bankruptcy litigation, including discharge and dischargeability issues. 

 

 


JASON KATHMAN

Mr. Kathman focuses primarily on business bankruptcies, reorganizations and restructurings. Mr. Kathman’s practice includes all aspects of bankruptcy, including litigation matters such as preference, fraudulent transfer, discharge, dischargeability, and other state law based actions.
